Stephanie has spent the last three years working in Oman having decided to teach internationally after being taught in a range of international schools herself. Stephanie’s main passion in teaching is for children to enjoy their learning; the aim of her lessons is to ensure that all children are able to feel a sense of achievement and confidence in the subject in which she teaches them. She makes sure her lessons are interactive and hands-on and loves nothing more than rewarding the children’s hard work with fun, educational games!
After completing her degree at Oxford Brookes University, Stephanie achieved her Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Primary Education before attaining further qualifications in both Primary and Secondary Mathematics. She has now had ten years of overall teaching experience in primary, middle and secondary schools.
Out of school, Stephanie is a very keen runner, having completed over ten marathons and a couple of ultras. She also has a love of hiking and has more recently become interested in cycling. You’ll often find her out at the crack of dawn, pounding the pavements, hours before school has begun. She was previously on the committee of a running club in Oman, where she organised a number of fun events, encouraging both children and adults to enjoy the sport. She hopes to do the same here in Singapore!
She is very excited to be moving to Singapore and to be working at Brighton College (Singapore).
