The festive spirit continues this week as our Prep pupils took to the stage and truly lit it up with their joy and growing confidence. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Performing Arts Team for bringing this show to life with such care and creativity.
Thank you to our parents for joining us. Your warm smiles and gentle cheers created the loveliest atmosphere for our young performers. They always seem to stand a little taller when you are in the audience.
We are now looking forward to our Senior Brighton Theatre Company leading the Senior Carol Service on Friday as we wrap up this wonderful term together.

Did you catch a glimpse of Santa roaming through the College today? π

He seemed to know his way around rather well⦠rumour has it he practised his route at the North Pole.
With a very enthusiastic Christmas Tree by his side, he strolled through classrooms, delivering festive greetings, hearty waves, and just the right amount of seasonal mischief.
Itβs moments like these that show just how joyful this season truly is, filled with wonder, kindness, warmth, and a little sparkle of Christmas magic. πβ¨

Over the past two weeks, our Prep School Council led a Food Drive in support of The Food Bank Singapore, inspiring pupils, families and staff to donate non-perishable items for communities in need. Kindness is the currency at #BrightonCollegeSingapore, and through this initiative, our pupils learned where the food collected will go and how these donations support families across Singapore, helping them appreciate the real impact of their kindness.
Thank you to every family who donated so generously. Your contributions did more than fill boxes, they will reach homes, ease worry, and nourish lives.

What a heart-warming week it has been across the College, as our youngest pupils from Nursery through to Year 3 took to the stage for their Nativity and Christmas performances.
From confident narrators and joyful singers to shepherds, stars and festive storytellers, each pupil brought such charm, confidence and enthusiasm to the stage. It was a delight to watch them shine and to see their imaginations take flight. We are so proud of our wonderful pupils.
A heartfelt thank you to all parents for joining us on this special occasion, and a special thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who kindly helped decorate the space so beautifully. Your creativity and care made the setting feel magical for our pupils and families.
We are also deeply grateful to our music department and teachers for guiding every child and for thoughtfully planning and leading the rehearsals and performances. ππΆβ¨

Our Christmas wreath-making brought a wonderful flourish of festive cheer this morning, as parents gathered for a creative and hands-on start to the season.
Guided by the wonderful @host.sg everyone took their time to explore the art of wreath-making, creating beautiful centrepieces with fresh foliage, dried fruits and seasonal touches. It was a calm and purposeful morning, a chance to pause, craft and enjoy one anotherβs company amidst the Christmas bustle.
A big thank you to @host.sg for leading such an inspiring session. We hope your wreaths bring a warm and welcoming glow to your homes this Christmas. β¨π

We were honoured to host the very first Teach Up Mandarin Conference at Brighton College (Singapore).
Mandarin teachers from across Singapore gathered on our campus with remarkable openness, curiosity and professional generosity. The collaboration, shared learning and kindness in the room reflected the very best of our College values.
Teachers left feeling energised, connected and inspired. Their thoughtful feedback highlighted just how valuable the practical strategies and open discussions were β moments that will enrich Mandarin teaching practice and, most importantly, the learning journeys of pupils across the island.
As an international school in Singapore dedicated to excellent teaching and inspired learning, we are proud to champion Mandarin education and recognise its growing importance across Asia and the world. Supporting both pupil progress and teacher professional development remains central to who we are.
We are delighted to continue this shared journey, enriching Mandarin teaching for our pupils.
