My name is Sam Thomas and I am very excited to be re-joining the Brighton College family of schools. My wife and I worked for five years in the partnership school in Abu Dhabi where I held the position of Assistant Head of Pre-Prep. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time there and made some lifelong friends.

I am originally from London, but upon returning to the UK from Abu Dhabi, my wife and I decided to move to the sunnier shores, relatively speaking, of Dorset on the south coast of England. Since making the move, I have been working as Year 1 Leader and Head of Early Reading and Phonics in a local school. The beginning of 2022 saw the arrival of our son who will be joining the Brighton College (Singapore) Pre-Nursery in August. We have loved being home and reconnecting with family and friends, but now feel it is time to reignite our international teaching career.

As a family, we love to travel and my wife and I have been lucky enough to visit some fantastic countries and meet incredible people along the way. However, as our son has never been on a plane, flying to Singapore will be the very beginning of his international adventures. This makes for a very exciting opportunity for us all, not that he realises that yet though!
