Liam graduated from the University of Salford in the UK with a BA Honours in Sport and Business Studies in 2006. He earned his PGCE from Liverpool Hope where he specialised in Physical education. Liam has been teaching for 10 years and spent the first four years as a classroom teacher before leaving the classroom and focusing on his passion, Physical Education.

Liam joined Brighton College in August 2021 from Dover Court International School, Singapore where he taught sport for 6 years and was Head of the Primary PE department. Developing and building a love of sports and exercise into later life underpins Liam’s teaching philosophy.

Liam is married to his lovely wife Samantha, together they have a little boy named Montgomery. In his spare time, Liam likes taking part in activities with his family such as cycling, swimming and running along East Coast Park. He also enjoys to play Football. He is also an avid Liverpool Football fan and when he gets the opportunity he will stay up and make sure he is supporting his team.
