Joining our school community as a Mandarin teacher, Helen Li brings her expertise and enthusiasm for language education to Brighton College Singapore.

Originally from China, Helen pursued her Master’s Degree at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Following her academic pursuits, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Mandarin, obtaining her Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 2013.

Mrs. Li‘s teaching journey began in the vibrant city of London, where she taught Mandarin to students across primary and secondary levels. Known for her engaging teaching style, Mrs. Li fosters curiosity and exploration in her students, believing in their potential to excel in language learning. With a profound interest in Chinese culture, Helen strives to enrich her students’ learning experiences by integrating cultural elements into her lessons, fostering a greater understanding and respect for the richness of Chinese heritage.

Outside of the classroom, Helen enjoys immersing herself in the energetic movements of Zumba, deriving happiness and revitalization through music. Additionally, she has a deep passion for traveling, from bustling cities to serene natural wonders, Helen embraces each journey with open arms, eager to learn and experience new perspectives.
