The Performing Arts

Dance is a transformative aspect of the Performing Arts curriculum. It promotes physical fitness and encourages creativity, builds self-expression and teamwork among our pupils. Pupils engage in various dance styles, enhancing coordination, rhythm and confidence. The inclusion of dance also fosters social and emotional growth, instilling resilience and a sense of belonging. Additionally, pupils explore cultural diversity through different dance forms, gaining an appreciation for global traditions.

Drama at Brighton College (Singapore) encourages pupils to push boundaries and unlock their creative potential. Outside the IGCSE course, pupils engage in dramatic activities like stage performances, playwriting competitions, theatre visits, and LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) lessons. These experiences boost personal confidence while allowing pupils to explore the world of theatre from multiple perspectives.

Music is a cornerstone of the Brighton College experience, offering a rich and inclusive environment for pupils to develop their musical talents. Pupils participate in concerts, festivals, musical shows, House competitions, and workshops with support from experienced instrumental teachers.
