A milestone moment for our growing school community - our very first Speech Day at Brighton College (Singapore)!
We celebrated the achievements of our brilliant Year 6 to Year 9 pupils not just in academics and co-curriculars, but in how they embody our values of Curiosity, Confidence and Kindness each day.
Inspiring speeches from our Head of College, Head Boy and Head Girl reflected on a remarkable year. A special thank you to our Guest of Honour, @neiltsui2.0, whose moving story of resilience conveyed the powerful message: “Acceptance is the beginning of moving forward.”
As the Term draws to a close, Speech Day was a reminder of what makes our community so special. Thank you to our brilliant pupils, dedicated teachers, and all who helped make this event so special — a wonderful way to mark the end of another exceptional year at the College.

From the small oval of the Prep School to the grand athletics track at Singapore Polytechnic University, our Sports Day this year was an unforgettable celebration of energy, teamwork, and House spirit.
At Prep School, pupils in Years 2 to 5 gave it their all across a range of exciting events - from sprints and relays to long jump, high jump, and fun novelty stations. The field buzzed with enthusiasm, and it was heartwarming to see pupils cheering one another on, showing true sportsmanship at every turn.
Meanwhile, our Senior School pupils in Years 6 to 9 brought powerful energy and determination. They tackled track and field events - from long-distance races to javelin throws - with grit and pride. House chants echoed in the stadium, lifting spirits! Nothing got the crowd going like the thrilling tug of war and the much-loved parent and staff relay.
A huge thank you to our dedicated PE team and all staff whose efforts made both days so seamless and memorable. We are also incredibly grateful to our parent community - not just for cheering loudly from the sidelines, but for stepping in to help and race with us!
Most of all, thank you to all our pupils- you were the heart of it all. Your spirit, enthusiasm, and support for one another made Sports Day 2025 one to remember. 💙💛

Adventure, science, and unforgettable moments in Borneo! 🇲🇾🌿
Our Senior School pupils spent five action-packed days at an eco-resort deep in the rainforest, kayaking alongside dolphins, hiking jungle trails, and spotting everything from flying lemurs to camouflage caterpillars on a night walk. 🐍🦧🕷️
They carried out a real biodiversity survey and contributed valuable data on carbon storage to support conservation work in the Permai Rainforest- one of the least documented regions in Borneo. 🧪📊🌳
There were epic team challenges too - ultimate frisbee on the beach, blowpipe fishing, survival skills, and evenings under the stars with marshmallows and awards. And yes, they even saw orangutangs in the wild!
A trip full of discovery, teamwork, laughter, and memories to last a lifetime.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome parents to our Junior Prep Art Exhibition. With over 500 pieces of artwork on display, this was a true celebration of creativity and expression.
The exhibition offered a wonderful window into the imagination, skill, and effort of our young artists. From colourful paintings and thought-provoking mixed media pieces to bold sculptures and beautiful printmaking, the artworks explored a wide range of themes, ideas, and emotions. Each creation was a unique reflection of the child’s perspective, and together they formed a rich tapestry of artistic expression.
It was a pleasure to witness such a wonderful array of creativity on display, and to have our young artists confidently guide families through the exhibition, sharing insights and stories behind the work!
Thank you to all who joined us-it was a proud and joyful celebration of art. 🎨🖼️

Last Friday, Year 4 took a step back in time for Egyptian Day 🏺👑- a full day of immersive learning inspired by Ancient Egypt. Pupils arrived dressed as pharaohs, mummies, gods and goddesses, and confidently walked the catwalk in a special Egyptian fashion show.
Throughout the day, they took part in hands-on workshops, from crafting amulets and canopic jars to sketching Tutankhamun and simulating a mummification. A brilliant day of creativity, curiosity, and history brought to life - well done to all involved!
