Brighton Early Years

Early Years Discovery Day

Thursday, 26 February 2026

8.45am – 11am

Age: 15 months to 5 years old

Discover the magic of early learning at Brighton College (Singapore) during our upcoming Brighton Explorers: A Day of Discovery event. We invite families with children aged 15 months to 5 years to step into our vibrant Early Learning Village (ELV) and experience the nurturing, world-class education that defines our foundation years.

Younger explorers can enjoy a heartwarming “Stay and Play” session alongside their parents, while older children get a true taste of life as a Brighton pupil. Led by our expert specialist teachers, children will rotate through a series of captivating activities, including hands-on Cooking in our dedicated pod kitchens, expressive Art sessions, and high-energy Dance and Drama workshops. It is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to spark their curiosity and build confidence in a safe, inspiring environment.

While the children are engaged in discovery, parents are invited to join an exclusive tour of our state-of-the-art facilities. Led by Ms Davina Lanigan-O’Keeffe (Head of Pre-Prep) and Gavin Clark (Head of Prep), these tours offer a deep dive into our unique curriculum and the “Brighton Way.” You will have the chance to meet our passionate educators and connect with current parents to hear firsthand about our close-knit community.

Experience how we lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. We look forward to welcoming you to Brighton Early Years!

Event FAQs:

1. Where should we go when we arrive at 8:45 am? Please enter via the main security gate at GATE 4, 1 Chuan Lane where security will provide you with a visitor pass. Our friendly admissions team will be waiting at the Early Learning Village (ELV), Junior Prep Reception entrance to and direct your family to the specific “Pod” designated for your child’s age group.

2. What should my child wear for the event? As children will be participating in active sessions like Dance, Outdoor Play, and potentially messy activities in our Art and Cooking spaces, we recommend they wear comfortable, play-ready clothing and closed-toe shoes.

3. Do I need to bring any snacks or drinks? We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle (containing only water) and some small snacks for your child. Please remember that we are a strictly nut-free campus; we ask that no outside food containing nuts be brought onto the premises.

4. Is there a place to store strollers or bags during the tour? Yes, there is a designated “Buggy Park” near the ELV entrance. For security reasons, we ask that you keep any valuables with you. If your child is in the Pre-Nursery “Stay and Play” group, you are welcome to keep your buggy outside the pod and take anything you need with you into the classroom pods.

5. Can I bring a sibling who is older than 5? This specific event is tailored for children aged 15 months to 5 years to ensure the activities remain developmentally appropriate. If you have an older child, please let our admissions team know, and we can arrange a separate tour of our Key Stage 1 or Prep facilities for you at a time that suits you and your family.
