Charlotte joined Brighton College (Singapore) from Brighton College UK, where she has been a Nursery teacher for the past four years. She graduated with a BEd (Hons) in Primary Education in Art and Design from the University of Plymouth. After beginning her teaching career in Buckinghamshire for two years, she moved to Australia. There, Charlotte worked in several independent schools in Sydney and taught on a 23,000-acre cattle station in Queensland.
In 2020, Charlotte returned to the UK and joined Brighton College, where she advanced to Nursery Lead Teacher, Outdoor Learning, and Clubs and Activities Coordinator. She also recently completed a National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership from UCL London.
While Charlotte has taught various year groups, her passion lies in the Early Years Foundation Stage. She finds it a privilege to witness the incredible growth and development of young children during these formative years. With her strong creative background and extensive travel experiences, she inspires and challenges her pupils, helping them reach their fullest potential. Charlotte is dedicated to fostering positive relationships and instilling a love for learning. She is particularly enthusiastic about outdoor learning and hopes to share her love for nature with her students.
Charlotte is excited to join Brighton College Singapore. Having visited only a few times before, she looks forward to exploring the diverse cultures, cuisine, and wildlife of Singapore, and enjoying the year-round sunshine. One of Charlotte’s favourite aspects of Brighton College UK is its culture of kindness, which she values deeply. She is committed to fostering kindness and inclusivity and is excited for this to continue at Brighton College (Singapore).
